DVD #1 of 3 - Medicine Ball Training
Level of Intensity
Mindy demonstrates the exercises using either 4, 6, & 8 lb. medicine balls. However, she suggests the new viewer do the workout first without any weighted ball and only add on additional weight as the exerciser is ready. Medicine balls comes in many varied weight sizes so the participant should move up in weight slowly and ONLY when they have mastered the exercise without weight.
Are various levels demonstrated throughout the video?
Mindy does give good pointers on alternative moves for beginners. However, this workout is very intense so the viewer should move from a non weighted ball to a light weighted ball and then progress up in weight slowly as he or she is ready. This video is not designed for a beginner exerciser.
